Hey there!

Welcome to your AMIGOS Portland Fundraising Campaign! Here, you and the rest of your Chapter will create your own fundraising pages for easy sharing in letters and on social media. As you build your page, keep these things in mind:

Have a Clear Call-to-Action- Don't waste time getting the point across! Briefly describe AMIGOS and then explain why you need people to donate.
Tell a Story- If you want people to give, you have to tell a story. Write to your personality and fill it with passion. Stories move people to action!
Make it about the donor- This seems strange, I understand. But you have to tell your story in a way that makes the donor feel important. They have to feel like their donation will make a difference. They need to be the hero of your story!
Make it corny- Use emphasis,underline,italicize.Sentence fragments? No problem. Use cliches. Fundraising should be informal, corny and fun!
P.S.- Always have a P.S. that is a restatement of your call-to-action. Studies show that a P.S. is among the first parts read in fundraising letters
